If your infested product has been unloaded we might be able to offer you an undersheet fumigation treatment.

Fumigation is the process of using Phosphine to treat contaminated food products. Those found in silos, bulk containers or even palleted goods. It leaves no residue behind, which, makes it a particularly effective pest control solution for stored products.
Depending on the type of product you are fumigating would outline the treatment plan more specifically. For example, if your product has been shipped into the UK via a shipping container and remains in the container we can seal the container and apply the Phosphine gas over a couple of weeks. If you have a grain store or you’re storing bagged products on pallets, we’d use a method where we’d seel the product with a plastic sheet before applying the Phosphine gas. Again this process will take a couple of weeks.
Once the period of time has passed whilst the Phosphine gas is present we then need to allow for a holding period to allow for your product to de-gas.
